About Us

Heroes Helping Heroes is a joint collaboration effort hosted for Officer Phillip Suarez Jr. by his family and friends – we are so glad you are visiting our site!

About Officer Phillip Suarez Jr.

Officer Phillip Suarez Jr., 40, is a respectable Metro Police Officer who has happily served his community, for over 7 years. He has been faithfully married to his bestfriend, Marcy, for 16 years; together they have three small children (Joseph 8, Phillip 10 & Angelina 12).

He was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of Cancer (Stage IV Metastatic Cancer of the Gallbladder), which has quickly spread to his Spine, Liver, Lungs & Bones. He was told his Cancer is inoperable and the only treatment available at this time is Radiation Therapy (which he has completed) & Chemo Therapy (which he is undergoing). He is unable to return to work at this time as a result of the significant damage the Cancer has caused to his bones. His Dr.’s at MD Anderson anticipate he will require Chemo Treatments the rest of his life.

Officer Suarez has an unimaginable battle before him. We invite you to keep him and his family in your prayers, and to join our efforts to provide some financial relief to a family who so desperately needs it.
